Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how NoralIQ uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit the NoralIQ website and use our online services.

It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, when your consent is required and how you can manage your choices.

This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 29 August 2026

1. About This Cookie Policy

NoralIQ uses cookies and other technologies to operate, secure and improve our website and provide functionality requested by our users.

Some technologies are necessary to provide services such as customer accounts, shopping baskets, subscriptions, checkout and security.

Other technologies may be used for purposes such as analytics and, where introduced in the future, advertising and campaign measurement.

Where consent is required, optional technologies will not be activated until you have made the appropriate choice through our cookie consent controls.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files or pieces of information that can be stored on your computer, smartphone, tablet or other device when you visit a website.

Cookies can allow a website to recognise a browser or device and remember information about a user’s session, preferences or previous activity.

Some cookies exist only for the duration of a browser session, while others remain on a device for a defined period or until they are removed.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

This policy uses the term “cookies and similar technologies” to describe cookies and other technologies that store information on, or access information from, a user’s device.

These may include:

  • cookies;
  • local or web storage;
  • tracking pixels;
  • scripts and tags;
  • similar browser technologies; and
  • other storage or access technologies.

The technologies used by NoralIQ may change as our website and services develop.

4. Why NoralIQ Uses These Technologies

NoralIQ may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • operate the website and its core functionality;
  • maintain customer sessions;
  • provide account and authentication functionality;
  • remember shopping basket information;
  • provide checkout and subscription functionality;
  • process payments securely;
  • protect our website and users against malicious activity;
  • remember your privacy and cookie preferences;
  • understand how our website is used where permitted;
  • diagnose technical problems and improve website performance; and
  • where introduced in the future and appropriately consented to, measure advertising and marketing campaigns.

5. Categories of Technologies

NoralIQ separates technologies according to their purpose.

Strictly Necessary

Strictly necessary technologies are required to provide functionality you have requested or to operate essential aspects of the service.

These may include technologies required for:

  • customer accounts and authentication;
  • website and application security;
  • shopping baskets;
  • checkout;
  • subscription management;
  • payment functionality;
  • session management; and
  • remembering your cookie and privacy choices.

Where an applicable legal exception applies, these technologies may operate without optional consent because they are necessary to provide the service or functionality you have requested.

Functional

Functional technologies may provide enhanced functionality or remember choices that are not strictly necessary to provide the underlying service.

Where these technologies require consent, they will only operate after you have chosen to allow them.

Analytics

Analytics technologies help NoralIQ understand how visitors interact with our website.

They may provide information such as which pages are visited, how visitors navigate the website, how visitors reached the website and information about browsers and devices.

We use this information to understand website performance and identify opportunities to improve NoralIQ.

Where consent is required, analytics technologies will not operate until you have chosen to allow them.

Advertising and Marketing

Advertising and marketing technologies can be used to measure advertising campaigns, understand interactions with marketing and, depending on the technology, support audience or advertising functionality.

NoralIQ does not currently use the future advertising technologies described later in this policy.

Where advertising or tracking technologies requiring consent are introduced, they will not be activated until the appropriate consent has been obtained.

6. WordPress

The NoralIQ website is built using WordPress.

WordPress may use cookies where necessary to provide functionality including authentication, administration and user sessions.

The specific cookies used may depend on whether a visitor is signed in and the functionality they use.

Cookies that are necessary to provide requested account, authentication or security functionality may operate as strictly necessary technologies where the applicable legal requirements are met.

7. WooCommerce

NoralIQ uses WooCommerce to provide ecommerce functionality, including subscription selection, shopping baskets, checkout and customer account functionality.

WooCommerce uses cookies to maintain information about shopping baskets and customer sessions.

These technologies allow the website to recognise when the contents of a basket change and associate a visitor with the appropriate shopping session.

Where these technologies are strictly necessary to provide shopping, checkout or other functionality requested by the user, they may operate without optional cookie consent.

8. Subscriptions and Customer Accounts

NoralIQ uses account and subscription functionality to allow customers to create and access accounts, manage subscriptions, review orders and access other customer functionality.

Cookies and similar technologies may be required to authenticate users, maintain sessions and securely provide account functionality.

Technologies strictly necessary to provide functionality requested by a signed-in customer may operate without optional consent where permitted by law.

9. Payments

NoralIQ uses third-party payment technology to process subscription payments and other transactions.

Payment providers may use cookies or similar technologies where necessary to:

  • process payments;
  • authenticate transactions;
  • prevent fraud;
  • maintain payment security; and
  • provide payment functionality requested during checkout.

Some payment-related technologies may be strictly necessary to securely provide the payment service requested by a customer.

Payment providers may also process information according to their own privacy information and applicable legal obligations.

10. Google Analytics 4

NoralIQ uses Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to understand how visitors interact with the NoralIQ website.

Google Analytics may collect information relating to website usage, including pages visited, interactions, referral information and information about browsers and devices.

We use this information to measure website performance, understand how visitors find and use NoralIQ and identify opportunities to improve the website.

Google Analytics uses cookies and related technologies to distinguish users and sessions.

Google Analytics will only be activated where the appropriate consent has been obtained.

You can subsequently withdraw or change your analytics choice through the Cookie Settings available on the NoralIQ website.

11. Google Search Console

NoralIQ uses Google Search Console to understand how our website appears and performs within Google Search.

Search Console provides NoralIQ with information relating to matters such as search queries, clicks, impressions and website indexing.

Search Console does not operate on the NoralIQ website as a visitor analytics system in the same manner as Google Analytics and is therefore not treated as an analytics cookie category merely because NoralIQ uses the service.

12. Website Security

NoralIQ uses website security technologies, including Wordfence, to help protect our website against malicious activity, unauthorised access and other security threats.

Security systems may process technical information associated with website requests and activity to identify and respond to potential security threats.

Where a cookie or similar technology is strictly necessary to provide essential security for a service requested by the user, it may operate without optional consent where permitted by law.

Security technologies are not used by NoralIQ for advertising purposes.

13. Elementor

The NoralIQ website uses Elementor for website design and functionality, including website forms.

The use of Elementor itself does not mean that every visitor is subject to additional tracking.

Where particular Elementor functionality uses browser storage, cookies or other technologies, those technologies will be classified according to their actual purpose and handled through our consent controls where required.

Information submitted through NoralIQ website forms is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. LiteSpeed Cache

NoralIQ uses LiteSpeed Cache to support website performance and caching.

NoralIQ currently uses local/server-side LiteSpeed caching and does not currently use QUIC.cloud as part of this setup.

Where caching functionality uses a cookie or similar technology that qualifies for an applicable exception, it may operate without optional consent.

NoralIQ will review this policy if the configuration changes to introduce additional external services or technologies.

15. Image Optimisation

NoralIQ uses website optimisation functionality to improve the performance and delivery of images and other website content.

Performance or optimisation functionality is not treated as analytics or advertising merely because it is used to optimise website content.

If optimisation functionality introduces additional third-party storage or access technologies in the future, these will be assessed and reflected in our cookie controls where required.

16. Cookie Consent and Preference Storage

NoralIQ uses a cookie consent mechanism to record and respect your privacy choices.

The consent system may store information on your device so that the website can remember whether you have accepted or rejected optional categories and does not need to ask you to make the same choice on every page.

This preference storage is necessary to remember and respect your privacy choices.

You can change your choices through the Cookie Settings control available on the NoralIQ website.

17. Future Advertising and Measurement Technologies

NoralIQ may introduce additional advertising and campaign-measurement technologies as our marketing activities develop.

These may in future include services associated with:

  • Google advertising;
  • Meta advertising;
  • LinkedIn advertising;
  • TikTok advertising; and
  • other advertising or campaign-measurement platforms.

These technologies are not described as currently active merely because NoralIQ may use them in the future.

Before introducing technologies that require consent, NoralIQ will update its consent configuration and, where appropriate, this Cookie Policy to identify the relevant providers and purposes.

Advertising and tracking technologies requiring consent will not be activated unless the user has made the appropriate choice.

18. Google Tag Manager

NoralIQ may use Google Tag Manager in the future to manage website tags and integrations.

A tag-management system may be used to control when other technologies are loaded but does not mean that every technology managed through it is permitted to operate automatically.

Where NoralIQ introduces Google Tag Manager, technologies requiring consent will be configured so that they are not activated through the tag-management system until the relevant consent requirements have been satisfied.

This policy will be updated as appropriate when that configuration is introduced.

19. Cookies and Technologies Currently Used

The cookies and similar technologies used on the NoralIQ website may vary depending on the functionality you use, whether you are signed into an account and the choices you have made through our cookie consent controls.

NoralIQ maintains information about the technologies detected and used on the website and reviews this information as our services change.

Where applicable, our cookie consent interface provides further information about individual technologies, their providers, purposes and categories.

20. Your Cookie Choices

When you first visit NoralIQ, you may be presented with controls allowing you to decide whether optional technologies can be used.

Depending on the technologies currently in use, these controls may allow you to:

Accept All — allow optional technologies in addition to necessary technologies.

Reject Optional — continue using the website without optional technologies requiring consent.

Manage Preferences — make choices about individual categories of optional technologies.

Strictly necessary technologies cannot generally be disabled through the NoralIQ consent interface where they are required to provide functionality you request.

Rejecting optional technologies should not prevent you from accessing the core NoralIQ website or purchasing and managing your subscription, although certain optional functionality may be unavailable.

21. Changing or Withdrawing Your Consent

You can change or withdraw your consent to optional cookies and similar technologies at any time through the Cookie Settings control available on the NoralIQ website.

Withdrawing consent will prevent relevant optional technologies from being used in the future in accordance with your updated preferences.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.

Where appropriate, you may also delete cookies that have already been stored through your browser settings.

22. Browser Controls

Most web browsers provide controls that allow you to view, block or delete cookies.

The exact controls available depend on the browser and device you use.

Blocking all cookies may affect the operation of NoralIQ. In particular, blocking technologies required for customer sessions, authentication, shopping baskets, checkout or account functionality may prevent those services from working correctly.

Browser privacy settings operate separately from the choices you make through the NoralIQ Cookie Settings interface.

23. Third-Party Technologies

Some functionality available through NoralIQ may involve technologies or services provided by third parties.

Third-party providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy information and legal obligations.

Where NoralIQ asks for consent to third-party storage or access technologies, we will provide appropriate information about the relevant provider and purpose through our consent mechanism or associated privacy information.

Further information about how NoralIQ shares and processes personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.

24. Changes to the Technologies We Use

NoralIQ is an evolving software platform and the technologies used by our website may change over time.

We may introduce, remove or change website functionality, analytics services, integrations, security technologies or marketing systems.

Where these changes materially affect our use of cookies or similar technologies, we will update this Cookie Policy and our consent configuration as appropriate.

Where a new technology requires consent, it will not be treated as authorised merely because you previously consented to a materially different purpose.

25. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to NoralIQ, the technologies we use, our service providers or applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page and the Last updated date will be revised.

We will periodically review the cookies and similar technologies used by the NoralIQ website to ensure that our information and consent controls remain appropriate.
